Well, after being treated like super stars and having our picture taken on the red carpet (yes we did) and being blinded by the huge flashes, we made our way to our seats for a scrumptious 3 course dinner while Jean Kittson kept us in stitches with her wonderful humour.  We heard a very frank and honest speech from Jeff Kennett (he’s not a politician anymore, so he can be honest now). 

Unbeknown to Roslyn and I, we had been strategically placed at the table of the first two winning categories of the night, and one of those winners was also the winner of the NSW Business Chamber Award...I think it was called the President’s award on the night.

Our companions for the night were
Zhik Pty Ltd – Winner of the Excellence in Export Award  (By the way, as the winner revealed on stage, he was NOT a member of the NSW Business Chamber)
SMSF Outsourcing Solutions – Winner of the Excellence in Small Business Growth AND the NSW Business Chamber Award – President’s Prize

It was all very exciting and Ros and I quickly moved on our table company to impose on them the honour of speaking at one of our events.  After looking at and touching the lovely awards we networked the quiet part of the night away.   It was then time for the Enormous Horns to start the party rolling and Ros and I danced away into the wee hours of the morning...how that girl can move, whoo!!!!
