Peppercorn Services Inc. was founded in 2001 and since then the organisation has since evolved into an innovative, dynamic, multi-service organisation which strives to adapt to and improve on best practice at all times.
Our core services include meals and social support programs for seniors, early intervention and prevention family and parenting programs; youth programs; community capacity building; transport for our aged, disabled or isolated residents, and early childhood education service. Services are predominantly delivered to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the community and our clients include frail older people, younger people with a disability and their carers, children aged from 0-18 and vulnerable families.
Services are delivered from six sites to the local government areas of the Hawkesbury, Penrith, Blue Mountains, Hornsby, Gosford and The Hills. A number of our services support people from isolated areas in the Forgotten Valley and the outer reaches of the Hawkesbury. The hub of the organisation is located in Peppercorn Place, Windsor, NSW.
Peppercorn Services has 40 employees and 16 volunteers helping to deliver 19 programs across the communities we serve. We are a values-based organisation committed to ensuring equity and access to care and services to the people we serve.
Peppercorn Services Inc. is an incorporated, non-government, not for profit, community services organisation. We are registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient and Public Benevolent Institution and registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC) and receive funding from a combination of local, state and federal government grants as well as support from local businesses and community groups.
