Meet our Executive Committee
Our friendly and professional Chamber Executive Team are available to help you use the combined experience, knowledge and networks of other members of the Hawkesbury business community.
Angela Dye – President
I have been operating my own businesses for many years and I love living and working in the Hawkesbury. I am passionate about helping our community and am proud to have been elected as President of the Chamber.
There is so much to know and do when running a business, and I hope that the Chamber can help our great local business community to be better represented and connected. I believe there is a lot of benefits to be gained for members of our Chamber and I look forward to working with the Executive, Chamber Members and other stakeholders to make things better for the Hawkesbury business community.
When I’m not working or volunteering, I really enjoy time with my family and getting away for weekend trips.
Shaun Goncalves – Treasurer
Chartered Accountant & Registered SMSF Auditor
Director of Lamb Lowe & Partners Pty Ltd
After working in the Hawkesbury for the last 19 years, including the last 8 years as a small business owner, I take great pleasure in being a part of this fantastic region. In my role as a Chartered Accountant, I am passionate about assisting small to medium business owners to continuously improve and to achieve a myriad of desired outcomes, not just growing the bottom line!
I have witnessed the re-emergence of the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce in recent years and am proud of playing a small part in this success. I look forward to working with the Executive team to continue providing value to the Membership.
Stacy Jenkinson – Vice President
General Manager of Prismatic Production and General Manager of Prismatic Events
I believe that the Hawkesbury can grow and maintain a stable and thriving local economy and that being an active member of the Chamber is an important part of this goal.
Having continually operated my own businesses since the age of 16, I love to share my experience and help others achieve their business aims. When not working in my business or serving on various community and charity boards, I enjoy teaching industry and business skills for TAFE NSW.
Matthew Atkins – Executive Committee
Owner of Plate Events & Catering
Having grown up in the local region as well as worked in the Hawkesbury business sector, I’m proud to run my own small business here and serve on the Executive Committee of our Chamber. I’m very passionate about keeping business local and utilising services closer to home to grow the local economy. I wear many hats having worked and trained in Hospitality, Events, Retail & Marketing and am very creative in these roles. I’m a sound believer in a business looking the part it needs to play in providing its products and services to attract clients and maintain a standard for them to ensure repeat business.
I’m excited to serve the Chamber for another term and look forward to continuing to build our Chamber up for the benefit of existing Members and our local area.
Elyse Powell – Executive Committee
I first moved to the Hawkesbury in 2014 as a practicing lawyer and quickly fell in love with the area and the true community spirit. In 2019 I made the decision to open my own small law firm with a focus on providing dynamic, quality legal services to the Hawkesbury. I am a strong believer in creating genuine, personal relationships with my clients and removing the stigmas associated with typical law firms.
As a new local business owner I hope to use my position on the Executive Committee of the Chamber to bring a fresh perspective and help our Chamber and it’s members thrive for years to come.
Robert McMaster – Executive Committee
I’m semi-retired currently working one day per week as a Director of C-Mac Industries (Aust) Cooperative Ltd promoting and advocating for more employee-owned cooperatives. My other role within the Hawkesbury is that of Business Chaplain, Greater West for Christ.
Actively involved in Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church and Scouting which has always been part of my life, currently a member of the Hawkesbury Blackhorse Scout Fellowship.
A toolmaker tradesman, a production engineer, then employed in the family business as General Manager for 27 years. Retrained in Chaplaincy Pastoral Care before transitioning family business to all employees. Lived and raised a family in Glossodia over the past 40 years.
Looking forward to continuing with my probono chaplaincy work by being present to listen, providing support and encouragement, care and assistance, praying if requested and empowering business owners.
Compassion, hope and humility based on my biblical understanding of humanity.
Jo Dunstan – Executive Committee
I’ve been operating Angel’s Florist in South Windsor for over 20 years and I feel I am very much a part of the Hawkesbury. Apart from my business, I volunteer in community groups and am very pleased to be part of the Chamber of Commerce Executive.
Compassion, hope and humility based on my biblical understanding of humanity.
I hope to be able to help the Chamber and its members through my network of local connections, business contacts and friends.
David Goodwin – Executive Committee
Having seen the value the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce provides its members and the community, I am pleased to be part of the Executive. As an accountant working with local businesses, I love being able to take the information provided at the monthly presentations and applying it to benefit clients.
Before settling in the Hawkesbury in 2017, I grew up in Qld, but lived for periods in Western Australia, the USA and Germany while running a small business.
Outside of accounting I enjoy golf, watching quite a few codes of football (NRL takes preference), maintaining our property, investing, and am also involved in the sport of show jumping on a number of levels.
Krystina – Secretary
My experience as a small business owner began in 2007 when my husband and I established our own Electrical business specializing in automation. As a young couple with a growing family, the plunge into business ownership was not without challenge. On the ground experience, and a compulsion for study, I established an accounts / bookkeeping company in 2009. My directorship of this company enables me and my staff to share our skills and experiences with other business owners.
It has been this love of learning that has seen the development of my relationship with the Hawkesbury. I pursued the development of an early learning center for the Windsor District culminating in the purchase of The Alphabet Academy, a family focused center, where enjoyment for learning, in a personalized environment is the priority.
My subsequent association with the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce has meant that my skills in leadership, success in small business along with a passion for learning can be combined in a collaboration with other business owners.
Gordon Cormack – Administration
I am pleased to have recently been appointed to the administration role of the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout my working life I have performed a range of administrative tasks at various levels and I know the importance of having effective admin systems in place to help things run smoothly. The Administration role within the Chamber supports both the Executive and the members.
My link with the Hawkesbury District started in the mid 1970’s when I worked as a Clerk with the Department of Main Roads. I also spent many years working at the Hawkesbury Agricultural College (which became a University) where I carried out various roles working with staff and students.
I have lived in the district for nearly 20 years, and can see the huge potential for the area as Sydney’s north west continues to grow.
As a small business owner, I can relate to the challenges and demands of so many small to medium size businesses, and I look forward to getting to know, and support, members of the Chamber.
My interests include music, running, playing golf and home restoration.
